Their collaborations have garnered top honors in three other categories by award committees from the Aegis, Summit and Omni Intermedia Awards.

TDI Productions and Mondo USA were recently named winners of the 2007 Communicator Awards "Award of Distinction" for the training / internal communications video category. Director Christopher Smith met with Mondo USA President Federico Stroppiana and the other heads of North American operations in Orlando, Florida in December of 2007 for the premier of the first of the company's video training materials. Mondo is familiar to many as the world's preeminent sport flooring manufacturer and is most famous for it's installation of flooring materials for the last 7 Olympic Games. Mondo also installs a host of commercial and medical flooring materials and is responsible for the design and manufacture of some of the world's largest private yachts.

TDI was awarded a Bronze Telly Award for it's documentary Watershed Roots in late 2005 bringing the season's total to eleven national and international awards. TDI wishes to thank all of the clients which made these award winning productions possible.

The Bronze Telly is the latest in a string of awards for TDI's educational and marketing productions. TDI's production of Watershed Roots, a community education program sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the Water Resource Education Network, was the award-winning production.

Earlier that year TDI was honored with two prestigious International Communicator Awards for education video productions.

The Crystal Award of Excellence (the highest honor and top prize) was given to Cairnwood: A Home in the Country, for the category of History/Education. This 15 minute production was directed by Christopher Smith and written by Ed Gyllenhaal. Click here for more information on this production.

TDI productions also won a second place Award of Distinction for the much contested Educational/Environmental category with Watershed Roots. This 30 minute production was co-written by Hans Peters and Christopher Smith and was directed by Christopher Smith. Click here for more information on this production.

TDI was named the winner of five Aegis Awards for 2004. The Aegis Awards is a nationwide competition for excellence in film and video production. In addition to winning entries in the Historical Education and Community Education categories, this is the first TDI award for a purely commercial production. The award-winning industrial marketing DVD was Carson Helicopters 2004 Marketing Production. This DVD details the benefits of Carson's newly designed, FAA certified rotor blade for the Sikorsky S-61 (a machine familiar to all as the helicopter used to transport the President of the United States). The entries are judged exclusively by video experts and former winners. The 2004 Aegis Awards honor productions produced in 2003 and 2004 which meet a standard of excellence decided by the award's board of experts. Winners are announced quarterly. Other 2003-2004 winners included: WGBH Boston Public Television, Mississippi Public Broadcasting Corp., University of Alaska Southeast, WGVU-TV and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Television.

TDI Productions won two Omni Intermedia Awards for 2004 in the Historical Education and Environmental Education categories. The Omni Awards were created to recognize the accomplishments of outstanding media production in a variety of fields. Entries are judged by the Omni Awards Committee, made up of experts in almost every aspect of media production. This year's committee featured members from: The Public Broadcasting Corporation, AT&T Intermedia, CNN, NBC News and various cable networks and film companies.

TDI Productions was awarded a 2004 Summit Award for Watershed Roots (see above). The Summit Awards is a truly international competition and this year the competition was judged by video experts from seven countries. Watershed Roots won the award for the much contested Education category. The Summit Awards does not break down entries by sub-categories such as "environmental education" therefore a very broad spectrum of entries compete in this category.

There were over 3000 entries in this year's competition from Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, England, India, Italy, Kuwait, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, The Netherlands, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, The United Kingdom and the United States.
